What is The Raft Restaurant?

The Raft Restaurant is an iconic landmark restaurant on the Walvis Bay Lagoon, operated by the Iris Group Namibia. Offerings of the Raft Restaurant are fresh Seafood, Prime Namibian Meat, Sushi, Burgers & Wood-fired Pizzas. With that, lovely scenic views of the Walvis Bay Lagoon is also a wonderful attraction.

What is our online Menu?

Our online menu is about simplifying our takeaway services and adding convenience to our customers. The menu is to assist on the current global situation surround the COVID-19 crisis. This will enable our customers to comply with certain precautions which have been advised.

Can I make changes to the online products/dishes?

Yes, but changes to the products are only applicable when removing any modifiers/toppings from the existing product/dish.

How do I pay?

You are able to pay online via Credit/Debit Card, Cash on Delivery, Card on Delivery. Electronic transfers will not be possible. If you have opted to pay with Cash on Delivery, please try pay with the exact amount as our drivers may not have sufficient change. 

Which neighbourhoods do you deliver to?

For now we are only delivering within Walvis Bay. Unfortunately we do not deliver to Naraville, Kuisebmond, Afrodite Beach, Dolphin Beach or Long Beach at this time.  

When can I expect my delivery?

Deliveries may take up to 30-45 minutes, depending on location and peak hours.

Is there a minimum order value for delivery?

Yes. Orders need to have a minimum value of N$100 in order to qualify for local delivery. However, you can still place an order for less and are welcome to pick it up from our premises.  

When will my order be ready for pickup?

Please allow our kitchen 15-20mins to prepare your order. You are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy a drink at our bar while you wait. 

What if I have food allergies or want to change the order?

Before checking-out, you’ll be able to add special instructions to let us know about any modifications you may need. Extra toppings do not apply to special instructions. 

Do I need to tip my courier?

Tips aren't included and they aren't expected or required. You can always rate your experience after you order.

What if I have a problem with my order?

We’re here to help. Once you’ve placed an order, you can contact us on 064 204 877 we’ll take care of your query.

Will my food be delivered to my door or inside my office?

Your delivery will be taken right to your door. If it's easiest for you to walk outside – that's fine too. You can always meet the delivery man at the kerb.
